BREAKING: PGA Tour Player Tests Positive for Coronavirus
It appears that the PGA Tour has its first case of coronavirus.
According to Brian Wacker of Golf Digest, “Multiple sources have confirmed a player o the PGA Tour has tested positive for COVID-19.”
Nick Watney was identified as the player who tested positive.
Wacker adds that contact tracing has begun.
As GolfNewsRI reported earlier this week, no PGA Tour players, caddies or personnel tested positive for the virus prior to the start of the RBC Heritage.
The tour administered 467 tests this week, including 369 at the RBC Heritage and 98 on the charter flight from the Charles Schwab.
