With restrictions on out of state golfers lifted in Rhode Island, many courses are welcoming back Massachusetts and Connecticut residents.
Out-of-State residents are allowed to play as long as the state you are coming from isn’t in a stay-at-home order.
“If you are an Out-of-State resident, you can now play golf in R.I. As long as the state you are coming from isn’t in a stay-at-home order. We are happy to have you back playing our beautiful courses. At a distance, of course,” writes the Rhode Island Golf Association (RIGA).
Triggs Memorial welcomed MA and Connecticut golfers back with the following message:
Triggs now welcomes back both our Massachusetts and Connecticut players and members.
The Governor has lifted the restriction for out of state players, provided their states have lifted the shelter in place directives.
Both Massachusetts and Connecticut have.
We look forward to seeing all our friends again.
The course is in superb condition.
